Live Mode is a feature in the motusQB app that allows users to see their throw mechanics after each throw. There are five metrics that are displayed after each throw depending on the apparel worn. After each throw, the sensor will transfer to the connected iOS device and display the metrics. It is important to wait until the throw is transferred before making another throw. For more information on live bluetooth connections see 'My Sensor Keeps Disconnecting'.
Metrics for the sleeve: Elbow Valgus Torque, Fingertip Velocity, Arm Speed, Arm Slot, and Shoulder Rotation.
Metrics for the wristband: Finger Speed, Snap Time, Throw Time, Arm Slot, and Shoulder Rotation.
For more information on the difference in apparel options see: What is the difference between the sleeve and wristband in motusQB?
Understanding the metrics: Tap on each metric in the app for an additional explanation on the metric.
Tagging Throws by Distance: You can also tag individual throws in Live Mode by tapping on the 'Tag' button and selecting a throw distance.
